It is located east of Tarsus, on Adana Avenue, approximately 10 m north of the modem bridge. When Berdan Stream flowed from the center of the city, it flooded the city with the heavy rain and melting of snow, especially in the spring. The Byzantine Emperor Justinian (527-565) directed the bed of Berdan Stream approximately 3 km east of the city center in order to protect the city from floods and built the Justinian Bridge, which is named after him. The middle of the three-eyed bridge is higher than the beginning and end. During the recent repair, many spolia stones were used and the railing wall was raised more than it should have been.
