One of various structures reflecting the magnificence of Roman Empire located in Tarsus is the Roman bath ruin called as Cross Under “Altından Geçme”. At the southern side of the visible ruin, the wall has 15 m length, 5 m thickness and 8,50m height. Blind arches made of bricks are located on this wall constructed with rubble stones. There are traces indicating a dome upper structure. Walls of the structure also have chimneys and ventilation tiles. This ruin of Tarsus Roman Bath constructed in the 2nd century indicate the major scale of the structure.
